The F135 program with Pratt & Whitney America is one of the most advanced military programs ever developed. Piaggio Aerospace have secured an agreement for the production and supply of a package of important components in several critical areas of the F135 engine.

Hi tech capabilities for assembling and testing aircraft engines under license from other manufacturers offered by our Villanova d’Albenga facility have significantly expanded the dimensions of Piaggio Aerospace’s operational activities.

The PW200 program involves all aspects of engine management at Piaggio Aerospace and has required us to develop new strategies to increase investment in machinery and facilities and reach new levels of lean production.

Piaggio Aerospace plays a key role in supporting the Rolls-Royce Gem and Viper engines, which power the A129 and MB-339. The company manufactures engine components and assembles them into complete, flight-ready units. In addition, Piaggio Aerospace delivers full MRO services, ensuring these engines remain reliable throughout their operational life.

Critical components for the Safran RRTM322 and Aneto-1K engines, which power the NH-90 and AW189K helicopters, are manufactured and assembled into complete units by Piaggio Aerospace, with maintenance, repair, and overhaul services provided to support the engines throughout their operational lifecycle.
